Am I the only one who sees this poster as a little bit misogynistic?

My train of thought goes like this: “Why would being called ‘Annie’ repeatedly cause a guy to snap? Well, if it’s some kind of insult. But why would being called by a woman’s name constitute an insult? Only if women are perceived not to be as good as men.”

I invite further commentary on this poster; maybe I’m imagining things.

I see how one can see it as misogynistic, but I don’t think that was the intention.
Think of it rather like an annoying nickname your friends gave you, be it an abbreviation of your actual name, or because of something you did, or because you look like someone famous that you don’t like.

I had one (or two) of those nicknames when I was younger and it used to annoy the shit out of me. I grew up, turned some of them around and was done with it; Anakin grew evil.
